Boulder CO Schools

Boulder CO Schools

As Callie enters middle school I am very impressed with the Boulder's open enrollment process and how supportive the different schools are in allowing the parents and kids educate themselves on the pros and cons of each school.

In most areas their are only two options either private or the school closest to your home. The Boulder Valley school district has done a nice job of embracing the open enrollment process and Callie has multiple options to choose from. She can attend Manhattan Middle School with it's focus on the arts. She cold attend Centennial Middle school, which because of it's size offer a multitude of after school activities and has a mote "traditional" curriculum. She can stay at Horizon's Middle School with it's smaller size classrooms and focus on making a difference in the world through respect and communication. The list continues with Casey Middle School, Platte Choice, Summit Middle School, Peak to Peak Charter School. Every school is exceptional, but adjusts their daily course load and philosophy to bring out the best in each child.

If you haven't had a chance to check out the Boulder Valley School District Website and go through the different options you owe yourself a view into the different options available.

If you are new to the area and wish to see different housing options be sure to look at View more Boulder Homes and Real Estate information or Search homes in Boulder, Colorado, and surrounding Colorado Real Estate markets
